# VFIntel > VFIntel is where renters pay their rent, get insured and build credit, and where landlords, insurers and lenders meet them before the lease is signed. VFIntel is a regulated financial company for renting. Legal entity: Art of Pay Inc., operating as VFIntel. Ontario, Canada, with a Delaware subsidiary. Registered office 199 Bay Street, Toronto. Serves Canada and the United States. Contact info@vfintel.com. ## What VFIntel is VFIntel is a regulated financial company built for one industry, renting, working alongside regulated partners for payments, banking, insurance and credit. It is not a bank, not an insurer, not a lender and not a credit bureau. No single bank, insurer or landlord controls it, so all of them can work with it. ## What it does, in the order a person meets it - Verifies the renter once against their bank and their employer, and keeps verifying every month through the rent they pay. - Collects the rent by bank transfer and splits one payment between the landlord, the insurer and the utility. - Puts the insurance the lease requires in place at signing, priced for the actual home, and checks it stays in force. - Reports the rent with the renter's permission, so paying it counts toward their credit file. - Follows the rental rules of each province and state, including where the deposit must be held. - Answers any outside system that asks, with permission, and says no with the reason attached. ## Why it exists A lease has been approved on documents for a hundred years. A perfect pay stub, bank statement or reference now costs nothing to produce, so a document proves nothing. What is far harder to fake is a year of rent that left a real bank account, insurance kept in force, and a home handed back in good order. VFIntel records that as the money moves. ## Where it fits AI is taking the part of every role in renting that anybody can rebuild over a weekend. What is left is the part that needs a licence, capital or a set of keys. The property manager keeps the keys, the accountant keeps the signature that carries liability, the identity checker keeps the licence to verify, the insurer keeps the capital behind the policy, the bank keeps the licence to hold the money, the credit bureau keeps the right to report. VFIntel is not one of those players. It is the financial record they all check. ## Status VFIntel is built and running on test data. We open in Q4 2026, projected on close of the round. There is no real customer data yet. ## Pages - https://vfintel.com/ Home: what VFIntel is and where it fits - https://vfintel.com/renters For renters: pay rent that is designed to build credit, get insured at signing, and keep a history that moves with you - https://vfintel.com/landlords For landlords: pre-checked applicants and rent paid with proof attached - https://vfintel.com/property-offices For property offices: fraud stopped at the door, and month end that prepares itself - https://vfintel.com/insurers For insurers: the customer at the moment the lease requires insurance - https://vfintel.com/banks For banks and lenders: checked income and a true rent history - https://vfintel.com/pricing Pricing: free or at cost for renters and small landlords - https://vfintel.com/about About VFIntel: the team, and where it fits - https://vfintel.com/investors For investors and partners: the story in five sentences - https://vfintel.com/demo See a demo: fifteen minutes, on showcase data - https://vfintel.com/insights Insights, written by Robert Elensky, founder and CEO ## Common questions **Is VFIntel a bank?** No. VFIntel works alongside regulated partners for banking, payments, insurance and credit. It holds the record, not the licence for every domain. **Does it work for a small landlord?** Yes. One rental gets the same record as a company with ten thousand: the renter checked, insurance confirmed, the rent recorded, the deposit held where the law requires. There is no system to buy and no team to hire. **How does a renter benefit?** They verify once instead of at every move, pay rent from one place, get the insurance the lease requires priced for their actual home, and have the rent they already pay reported with their permission so it counts toward their credit file. **What does a financial partner connect to?** One record. An insurer, credit company, bureau or payment network connects once and sees its own piece, with the renter's permission, at the moment the lease creates the need. **Is the record honest about bad behaviour?** Yes. Rent paid, insurance kept and a home handed back properly are recorded, and so are missed rent and a place left badly. That is why a landlord believes it. ## Pricing Prices apply when VFIntel opens, projected for Q4 2026 on close of the round.
