You can buy coverage from any insurer, directly or through any broker. Your rent payments here are not affected. If your building requires proof of coverage, you can upload it after.
Insurance is sold by a licensed broker or insurer; VFIntel provides the technology and payment platform. Quotes shown are illustrative placeholders. You are free to choose any insurer.

Up to three offers, and the opt-out is on the same screen.

Choice, in writing.

The renter sees a maximum of roughly three quotes, ordered by the program's placement agreements, with the first position carrying the Recommended badge. Every offer is a licensed quote on the same verified facts, so the comparison is honest.

The opt-out is not buried in settings or a policy document. It sits under the offers, in plain language, with the assurance that rent payments continue unchanged. This is the screen that answers the regulator question every insurer and broker will ask.

Why it matters to HUB: the program can demonstrate, on the decision screen itself, that no renter is locked in to a single insurer or locked out of the direct market.

Prefilled fields come from your verified identity and your property manager's unit record, shared with your consent. Review and correct anything before you continue.

The application is a confirmation, not a form.

Two minutes, not twenty.

Everything a Canadian tenant application normally asks is here, but almost none of it is typed. Identity fields come from the verified identity layer. Unit facts come from the property manager's record, with the renter's consent. What remains is the genuine decision set: limits, deductible, add-ons, and the history declaration.

For the carrier this is the underwriting win: quotes are priced on verified facts, not self-reported ones, and the submission arrives complete.

Field inventory: the full list of application fields and who supplies each one is in the explainer appendix, pending validation against current carrier applications.

Funds settle into a program trust account and are distributed to your property manager and insurer. VFIntel administers the trust and cannot spend program funds.

One payment funds rent and premium; the renter can always unbundle.

Bundled by default, never by force.

The wallet shows the single payment with its split, the bank-account default with no card fees, and the switch to card or to separate payments. Every path settles through the same trust.

The payment history doubles as the stability signal: on-time bundled payments are what feed the payment-behavior signal carriers receive as a derived, consented output.

Why it matters to HUB: premium collection rides the rent rail, which is why lapse rates fall; the renter sees one bill they already prioritize.

The property manager supplies the record it already maintains, and sees nothing else.

The unit record is the raw material.

This is the interface Joan asked about. The PMS sync carries the unit facts a broker needs to select the correct quote. The consent line shows exactly what was shared and when.

The boundary is explicit on the screen: no quotes, premiums, or carrier names ever appear on the PM side, only proof of coverage where the lease requires it.

Why it matters to HUB: verified unit facts are what make the three quotes on screen one accurate, and the PMC needs no insurance licence to supply them.

Names and contact details are shown only where the policy sits in your book. Payment behavior appears as a derived signal; underlying banking and card data never leaves the VFIntel layer.

HUB watches its whole book in one place, without holding the data.

The conclusion, not the records.

The monitoring view is read-only and scoped to HUB's book. Premium status, renewal pipeline, and lapse-risk flags arrive as derived signals, so HUB gets the early-warning value without touching protected banking or payment records.

A lapse-risk flag on this screen is actionable weeks before a missed premium would surface in a carrier's back office.

Two ways to deliver this: HUB may already run a combined reporting dashboard across its book, which is what a major MGA should be doing. Where that exists, VFIntel feeds it through the same scoped, read-only interface. Where it does not, the view illustrated here ships ready-made.
Illustrative mock-ups for discussion purposes only. Not an offer of insurance, credit, or banking services. Insurance is sold by licensed broker and carrier partners; VFIntel provides the embedded payment and data infrastructure. Money-services registrations are in progress. Carrier names, quotes, and figures are placeholders. Renters are free to choose any insurer or none.
